In earlier training, our Taoist masters taught that Chi/Ki/Prana is the master
integrator of mind-body and spirit. They also taught that the only place in
the entire cosmos for integration is within one's own body and nowhere
else. Thus, when the mind is externally focused we deplete our chi, but
when we are internally focused (such as on our breathing and chi
circulation) we infuse chi into the body and aid in re-balancing it.

Horse Stance (medical 45-degree posture) is a rapid manner to move beyond
the constant mental chatter of the mind and the emotional roller-coaster
of the emotions while revealing the True Self. This happens as we ride the
wave of chi that leads to natural integration and optimal health.
