Southwest Journey Testimonials
The Southwest Journey program is designed to provide opportunities to explore, meditate, and access the natural healing, grounding and integration properties of our dear Mother Earth's sacred power spots that are tucked away within spectacular yet intimate geologic settings of natural beauty.

In the spirit of adventurous exploration, I work with small groups of flexible, open-minded, and spiritually-oriented individuals in these majestic natural sites. This work is with the intention of helping to facilitate a profound inner healing and re-balancing that naturally happens and deepens cumulatively over the course of this journey.

These southwest journeys consist of exploration, meditation, short and long hikes (optional) to ancient Native American archaeological sites and power spots. Surrounded by breathtaking natural geological monoliths, we will have the opportunity to admire a number of ancient cliff dwellings, petroglyphs and ancient pueblos that are natural and man-made power spots.

On this entire journey, we will drive and stay overnight predominantly in hotel/motels (or camping on special designed tours) where we can take advantage of a number of the many sacred power spots which may include many of the following breathtaking sites such as Sedona, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Canyon DeChelly, Mesa Verde, Zion National Park and Monument Valley.

Some of the majestic sites we visit are spread quite a distance apart, so potentially there will be approximately two long drives (about 4 hours each), which are unavoidable and necessary. These one-of-a-kind special tours are unique and rare in this day and age, but they are so important in connecting us back to the Earth and to our spiritual selves. We hope you will join us!

Some of you may know I turned 50 earlier this month, and I recognized that I needed some time to disconnect from everything and reconnect with myself. I needed more than just a long weekend, and truly needed to go off the grid.

On September 9th I began a 10-day Southwest Journey with Ronald L Holt, a close friend of mine and beautiful soul. Ron has been exploring all over the southwest for the past 40+ years and is an amazing guide.

We visited new sites nearly every day and traveled hundreds of miles. Heading north from Phoenix we visited Montezuma’s Well, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park (UT), Monument Valley, as well as Canyon DeChelly, Chaco Canyon, and Bandelier National Park in New Mexico.

We explored ancient Native American ruins, hiked, did a cold water plunge, meditated, participated in a traditional Navajo sweat lodge ceremony, soaked in a natural hot spring, completed a 13 mile hike, and saw some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen.

Most importantly, I had time to rest mentally, breathe some fresh air, and to sit with myself and reflect on my life to this point. In addition to being an amazing guide, Ron also offers great counsel and assisted me in working through my personal share of life’s challenges.
